Happy Monday Tribie and Happy Fast 5 Challenge!

Today is Day 1 of our Fast 5 Challenge and it can be whatever you want it to be.

You can create whatever you want to create in these next 5 days.

Here's some options for how you could choose to think:

"Yes! Fast 5 Challenge, this gives me a chance to get back on track"

"This Fast 5 Challenge is just what I need to help me keep going"

"5 Days of practice with others, I love Fast 5 Challenges".

"Regardless of the Fast 5 Challenge I will keep practicing. I do love the energy the Fast 5 Challenge creates within the group though".

"5 Days of practice, not 5 days of perfection. If I deviate from my plan I'll just come back to it and keep practicing, that's my commitment for these 5 days".

"I LOVE 5 days of practice because I feel AMAZING by the 5th day".

Which thoughts will you choose to practice?

The Fast 5 Challenge always gives us the opportunity to come back to the basics and that's what we'll be focusing on during our calls this week. The Core 4 and our 4 Steps of Practice.

The Core 4:
1. Fasting
2. Insulin Stabilising Diet
3. Water, sleep, stress, movement.
4. Portion Caution.

The 4 Steps of Practice:
1. Know what you want.
2. Set a Plan.
3. Show up to your plan.
4. Build Confidence.

The 30 Day Planner helps you remember and practice these.

I LOVE Fast 5 Challenges, they always create permanent weight loss for at least a few women.
I'm really looking forward to see who makes progress this week.

Feelings Focus:

Welcome to a new part to our weekly newsletter. A lot of the personal work I've been doing this year has been around emotional strength. Emotional strength improves my ability to accept and feel a wider range of feelings (without eating or avoiding them) and it empowers me to help others build their own emotional strength.

One of the areas that I wanted to put more attention into is my emotional vocabulary and I thought, why not share this with Tribies. As I learn, you can learn and we can build our emotional strength together.

So each week I'm going to choose an emotion to focus on and I'll share some information about that particular emotion.

This weeks emotion has been chosen by me opening Brene Brown's book 'Atlas of the Heart' at a random page (and then flipping pages until something drew me in).

And I've chosen the emotion 'Humility'.

Humility comes from the Latin word humilitas, meaning groundedness.

Humility is openness to new learning combined with a balanced and accurate assessment of our contributions, including our strengths, imperfections, and opportunities for growth.

The emotion of humility involves understanding our contributions in context, in relation to both the contributions of others and our own place in the universe. It's different from pride in that when we feel pride, we focus entirely on the positive aspects of a specific accomplishment (which can still be healthy and productive).

The term "intellectual humility" refers specifically  to a willingness to consider information that doesn't fit with our current thinking. People who demonstrate intellectual humility don't lack confidence or conviction. They may hold strong views, but they are also open to hearing other points of view. They are curious and willing to adjust their beliefs when faced with new or conflicting information. Humility allows us to admit when we are wrong - we realise that getting it right is more important than needing to "prove" that we are right.

Oh my goodness. When I read that description of Humility taken from Brene Brown's 'Atlas of the Heart' I realise that humility is one of the emotions I've strengthened most on this journey.

When I think about the actual sensations that it generates in my body I experience a calm and at the same time jittery feeling. A lightness and openness through my body. It feels like fear is nowhere as there's no such thing as being wrong it was just what I thought with the information I had and now I'm collecting more information (not sure if that makes sense).

I encourage you to sit with Humility for a moment. Try it on, try to see how it feels in your body. Do you notice a familiarity or is there resistance? Neither is right or wrong, we're exploring what is and gaining awareness.

It's all learning and growing.

And FAR OUT I love this kind of stuff so much.

I imagine how empowered I am and those in my life are, the more I learn and practice, the more empowered we all are. (that's a belief that seems to be serving me).

Big love and hugs to you all.

Let's have an awesome week of Fast 5 Challenge.

Love

As you know our group coaching in the Fast Mama Program is unlimited.

You're ALWAYS welcome to get coached on our Group Coaching Calls and it's always our honour to coach you.

There's NEVER a time when you've taken up too much space or reached a limit for coaching on these calls.

We recognise though, that Group Coaching isn’t for everyone and sometimes you might require more privacy or space to work through a personal challenge.

I have been doing Private Coaching for the past 2 years but it’s only been for those who reach out to me asking for private help.

I want to share with you how to get Private Coaching with me as I know there are more women who want that extra support.

Why would you want to get private coaching?

Reset or Refocus: sometimes we hit obstacles that are blocking our progress and growth. Working with the tools in the Fast Mama Program helps but sometimes you just need private time and space to dial in, focus and address your specific needs.

You Time: Private time dedicated just to you, a time where we prioritise and work on what's important to you and your goals and help you overcome what's getting in your way of achieving them.

Privacy: Some things might feel too personal to share in a group setting and working through them is what you feel called to do. Our private sessions allow you to bring up any event, circumstance or any topic you want to get coached on, it's a safe space to work through anything you feel is holding you back from shining bright.

Make yourself proud: You might feel in a rut not making any progress and you’re ready to step up and make yourself proud. Private coaching can help you set bigger goals that you are willing to strive for and can help keep you focused on getting there.

Private Coaching session options:

Please be aware that I can only offer this in AUD. The converted prices above are estimates for the GBP and USD.

I'm committed to continuing to support you on your journey to living the life you desire whichever coaching option you choose to use.

There's absolutely no pressure to purchase Private Coaching sessions right now or ever; I want you to take your time, know it's an option and consider what feels right for you.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like to discuss anything further at [email protected]
