Tribe News - 20th June 2022

Happy Monday Tribies!

June is the month of doing hard things and making ourselves proud. 

This week I want us to focus on thought work. We're going to be doing a whole lot more models around here starting right now. 

Here's a model you might be in at the moment:

Circumstance: It's 20th June
Thought: "June's almost over, I might as well start next month"
Feeling: Discouraged, defeated
Actions: Give up for now, eat whatever I want. don't plan, disconnect from Tribe, tell yourself you'll step up on the 1st of July, feel tired from eating all the food, don't exercise...
Results: lose belief that you can lose weight, start to tell yourself you'll never lose weight, gain weight 


If you recognise yourself in this model don't stress. Don't beat yourself up. Decide to change it and start practicing. 

Here's a model that will help you.

Circumstance: It's 20th June
Thought: I'm going to start with 2 good days today and tomorrow. Small steps and I'll feel amazing in no time.
Feeling: empowered or motivated
Actions: Set a plan, think about future self, do 2 great days with the Tribe
Results: Believe it's possible, step back up quickly, feel amazing, believe you can change things around in just 2 days, be proud of yourself, lose weight.

 

We are all just one thought away from our goals.

Literally.

We just need to find the one thought that's getting in our way and change it. 


We do that through thought work.

Through Training your Brain. 

As we close our June let's finish up with 10 great days. Not perfect, just great as in improved from your old average. Perhaps we should aim for 10 days of 10% improvement.

You can do that!

You can do hard things (not that these 10 days will necessarily be hard). 

 

This Week:

This week we're we'll focus on models and thought work. Show up to the calls or catch them on the replay. 
Ask for help or to get coached if you need. Take up space!

This week we MUST shine the spotlight on the amazing Elveen Mead!

"After my 4 days away and a rather large birthday cake along with lots of other good food. I got straight back on my plan. Did I stress the seeming 5lb weight gain when I got on the scales Friday? A little. But I didn’t let it worry me, this morning I’m only showing a 1 lb gain. If I had let the scales depress me I may not have gotten back to plan and those pounds would have been permanent, yes it felt I was back where I started but I was determined not to let it get me down. Now I’m focused on doing an 80% or above week and catching up with the coaching calls from last week." 

What a mindset! This is the mindset that will get you to Prima Elveen. 

A massive HAPPY BIRTHDAY and WELL DONE to you.
