Hello Tribies!
What a fantastic start to our "Ending the Year Strong" 28-Day Practice! This week, we've been setting up flexible plans to navigate the holidays with confidence and balance. It’s been so inspiring to see everyone putting thought into their Fast, Exception, and Base Plans. You’re laying the groundwork for a season where you can feel empowered in your choices, enjoy special moments, and stay aligned with your goals. Well done, Tribies!
Here’s a quick recap of our focus this week:
Group Coaching Call #1: Building Your End-of-Year Plan
We guided you through creating your personalised Fast, Exception, and Base Plans for holiday events. If you missed it, make sure to catch the replay Backstage.
Group Coaching Call #2: Confidence in Holiday Choices
This call was all about building a confident mindset around food choices, focusing on balance over restriction. We tackled common mindset barriers like fear of judgment and the “all-or-nothing” trap. If you’ve ever felt guilty about enjoying a holiday treat, you’ll definitely want to watch the replay!
Your achievements this week have been inspiring! Here’s a glimpse of what some of you have shared:
Amanda Buckingham: “I gifted myself a day of doing absolutely nothing. I let others take care of everything and just relaxed without guilt (I was exhausted so needed it). It felt so good π”
Jojo Heeps: “Averaging 11k steps per day over a week!!! I thought I was just barely scraping past 7.5-8k per day, but when I looked at my week in reflection, there it was π. This is good for me as I sit down in my desk job most of the day. #2 practice my new habit of only having coffee after 11 on M W and F. Still going!!”
Elveen Mead: “Week 2 of my core program completed and started week 1 of upper body strength program. Step count aim of 7,000 managed 90% of the time and averaged over the days = 100% (higher some days lower on others).”
Sally-Ann North: “Had an exception Saturday and got straight back in plan. Said no to biscuits that my friend made especially for me.”
Sarah Crawford: “Loving the fact that my winter skirts all fit and I’m not worrying if they will do up comfortably.”
Anita Valeur Nielsen: “πβοΈπβοΈπβοΈπβοΈ I have joined a challenge #SwimTrek60K where swim teams swim 60k in November, there are 6 of us in the team so 10k to be contributed, 1700m done (10k in 30 days is approx 1/3 km a day).”
Every single one of these wins highlights the power of staying committed and adapting as needed. Remember, every bit of progress matters—together, these small steps are leading us closer to our long-term goals!
In Week 2, we’ll be shifting our focus to Navigating Holiday Triggers and Emotional Eating. The holiday season can be full of emotional highs and challenges, so we’re here to help you develop resilience and mindfulness to navigate these moments without turning to food for comfort.
I've added our upcoming 28 Day Practice's in our What's On calendar here: https://www.fastmamatribe.com/whatson
Remember to keep sharing your reflections and wins in the group! If you haven't yet, take a moment this weekend to post your opening snapshot and reflect on how you’re feeling about the holidays now that you’ve set your plans.
"I have the freedom to enjoy the holidays while making choices that feel good to me."
Let’s keep going strong, Tribies! You’re doing an incredible job setting yourselves up for a holiday season filled with confidence and joy. See you in the group!
With love,
Lindell xx
