I'm writing to tell you you're not alone. If you're feeling like there's something wrong with you because you just can't seem to lose the weight, or you lose it and keep it off... there's absolutely nothing wrong with you despite the voices in your head telling you there is. 

I was there, where you are. This exact day last year I was SO uncomfortable, feeling like I'd failed myself. I thought I'd never lose all the weight. That I'd never get from the obese weight I was into my healthy weight range I am today. 

I also thought that weight loss HAD to be punishment. That it was the only way. 

Boy how wrong I was. 

When I started the Fast 800 Diet I skimmed the book and got started. Tweaking along the way. I went for a 'progress not perfection' approach. 

Those first weeks were critical. 

To make the commitment and create a 'why' that really motivated me. To step out of the audience. 

Then to learn the right moves, the critical moves that would help me go the distance to my goal weight. 

In those first weeks I also needed to have some BIG, FAST weight loss wins to motivate me to keep going. 

It was so weird though. The requirements I needed to be successful were all the things I'd been told over and over by the diet industry were unhealthy and would cause me to put all the weight back on. 

It's funny because everything I'd been told and knew, was wrong and one of my biggest wins was from flipping my mindset on it's head and trusting in a process that didn't make 100% sense to me when I started.

After my first 28 days I'd lost 8.7kg/19lbs. I could not believe it. That's nuts.
